It's been said, by us, that finding new drummers is our band hobby. So it goes. In the meantime, Robert continues to be a life saver and is helping us with all the remaining shows up to the CD release next month. After that, who knows what.

Prepping for next month's release of The Sea and Setting Sun. Doing all the pointless things, like sending out demos and mp3's. For now, you can hear two songs from the album on our website, Adventurer is listenable right HERE, and Empty Vessels right HERE. We'll put up the whole album to stream soon enough...

Prepping for a big week. Trying to practice as much as possible with our two bass players. Learning Beatles songs for next Thursday and would like to learn a Neutral Milk Hotel song for Tuesday but we may not have time! We will see.

Working with Jamarr, our new fill in bass player, on learning a bunch of songs. He is a nice addition, given that Darrin is out of town so much, and hopefully now we don't have to worry about not playing without a bass player again.
We do have some upcoming shows that should be quite fun. August 14 finds us at the always free Carabar, playing with The Flotation Walls and Arlo and The Otter for the first time. August 24 will find us at The Treehouse with a band called Neutral Uke Hotel, which plays the entirety of Aeroplane Over the Sea using Ukuleles and probably some horns or something. We'll just have to see. Hopefully we can learn a Neutral Milk Hotel cover before the show, since that's the last band in the world anybody thinks we sound like. Of course, since Brandon hates the Neutral Milk Hotel and thinks that their trumpets are the worst thing ever, it might take some arm twisting and convincing him that yes, people actually do like this band. On a related note, we have yet to find a band that we all like. There are some Beatles songs that we all agree are good, but I don't think that counts.

We will be playing in Washington DC on Saturday, July 24 at the Comet Ping Pong. No doubt we have no fans in Washington DC but we did personally invite Barry O'bama and promised him an autographed copy of Children With Wolf Heads. He's sure to be in attendance.

This is the new website. It is simple. You can find information about us up there. This is a video of us playing Comfest in Columbus last month. The song is called Empty Vessels, it's from the upcoming album titled The Sea and Setting Sun. It is coming out in September.
